Hello, I’m Alyssa!

Welcome to my blog! I’m so excited that you decided to check out what’s going on here. Thank you so much!

Before I get into what this blog is all about, let me tell you a little about myself.

I’m Alyssa Bazile. I’m your everyday 20-something, Christian woman from a small city in Mississippi, a southern girl with city girl tendencies. However, I do LOOOVE me some fried chicken and cornbread!

I am in a blessed and happy marriage with my amazing husband, Brandon, who I absolutely adore. I must say, God is the best matchmaker there is! We are definitely a powerhouse of support when it comes to one another’s goals and dreams.

FUN FACT about me!

In my everyday speech, I tend to “sing-talk” for no apparent reason other than because well, for one, I’m just goofy (the good kind, I think), and two, I think life should be a musical, where everyone is happy-go-lucky most of the time because they have such awesome characteristics and contagiously positive personalities.

(SN: My husband teases me when I talk about life as if it were a movie. I mean is it too much to ask to have a picnic on a nice, sunny day with a slight overcast and nice breeze on picturesque green grass or wanting to frolic in a meadow of beautiful flowers because it seems fun and liberating? Okay, too much? I digress. Lol!)

What led me here?

Honestly, fear of failure. I am in the midst of a career change and it has not been an easy road. However, I’m too excited about the future to stay stuck in what could have been. This girl has never given up, and she won’t start now! So, this is me finally 1) taking a hold on one of my passions, 2) helping people, especially women, to cultivate and stay true to their positive character, and 3) forming a community of people who know they aren’t perfect but want to take on a life of happiness, joy, and peace.

About the blog:

I’m using this blog to be a vessel for my best friend, Jesus Christ. Also, my Holy Father has been lighting a fire in me and with His approval, I’m now ready to let it out! I want to share the wisdom He has blessed me with so far. I’m not perfect. I don’t have all of the answers. However, I do know what life’s circumstances have taught me, and I want to share them with you. There’s a little something for everyone in this blog, so pick your flavor! My desire is for us to be our best selves and enhance our character by the spoonful, the Christian way, and have some fun along the journey!

Spoon’s ready?! Let’s start scooping!
